Mama Shala is somehow a mirror of myself, frank, brutal, rude, yet (she is) a softie inside. She's got the mother instinct and motherly love that most of us, her friends, don't hav bec she is.. a mother to lovely boys. ipagtatanggol ka nyan khit s mga tambay at lasing sa kalye kaya sarap kasabay maglakad pag gabi :-) miss ko na ang mapanglait na babaeng 'to lalo na ang mega-kulog nyang boses at tawa nun nasa Edsamail pa kmi sana magkita nman tayo soon para matawa ulit ako. madaling pakisamahan mahirap maging kaaway, cgurado at di rin sya mapagkunwari ha, vulgar nga eh, idol mo ba si Taray Queen? I really wish you'd be reunited with ur sons soon and I know u are fine with Rickey nd Darrel but wud be the happiest mom on earth when u finally get ur 3 sons wid u. Shala hmmm, what can I say more? I never had the chance to psyche this SIS of mine during her neophyte stage (you're one lucky girl). One of the SIS who became successful despite having a hell of a time with the FRAT/SORRORITY. I've only had a little time knowing her, in those times I've known her as a good conversationalist, has hidden intellect and compassionate to her friends. Keep on excelling in your endeavors!!! Mama Shala! Bestfriend yan ng Mommy ko. Kahit hindi pa kami nagkikita in person, alam kong mahal nya rin ako dahil mahal nya ang lahat ng mahal ni Mommy. Saka ni-add nya ako sa friendster nya eh :) My Mommy misses her so much. Sobrang love yan ng mommy ko kasi super duper bait nyang friend. Sabi nga ni mommy, UBER FRIEND yang si Mama Shala eh. i guess i need to apologize to my friends who surfs and chance upon my blogspot and see that i don't have updates. i'll try my best to update this as much as i can.

i recently visited madz' blog and i was so amazed how she really made that site a very beautiful and interesting one for everyone. she has pictures of her family and in that site, i can sense that she is a well-made woman. i commend her for that.

my baby JOY is on her family way with my ampon, bartski. you can visit her site so you can see my bean-like apo from the ultrasound shot she posted there.

a lot of occasions passed and i guess i'll just recap everything today...

MARCH

my stepson and his girlfriend paid us a visit from memphis, tennessee. they stayed for a week. it was fun while it lasted. we took them to hollywood, universal studios, comedy clubs, venice beach and all the restaurants we can go to. they love eating! whew! one thing i can say...we took a whole lot of pictures! as in, lots and lots! if only my stepdaughters are as polite and respectful as my stepson, i won't despise them...really!!!!!

i resigned from my old job and my last day was march 31, 2005. they did not have funds to pay me anymore. i did not feel bad instead, i feel so glad that i didn't have to put up with narcissistic boss who thinks he's God. i'm so happy for myself eventhough i feel so sorry for them because they don't know where to find the money to pay their debts(chuckle!) this is a perfect example of KARMA...what goes around, comes around. this is payback time for them because they never treated anyone fair. harkharkhark!

APRIL

i became an official stay-at-home mom, cook-all-day wife, surf-24/7 girl. during the first week, it went fine but, as weeks pass, i start to feel so useless. everybody's like, "you're so lucky you don't have to work". duh?!? i have kids to feed, i have a sister to send to school, i have a mom who's clinging on to my income for her to breathe. what's lucky about it?

but i came to the realization that things happen for a reason. my husband got this offer for a job that will pay more than what we both used to take home for the whole family(stepkids, aunts, uncles, moms, sister, brothers, friends). i guess it will work out. i would have to update you guys on this.

MAY

MOTHER'S MONTH! i bought tons of cards and printed out more to send out to all the mommies in the world, literally--from states in the US to the philippines to almost all the continents of the world. i guess i just want to let these mommies feel that they're remembered.

I sent my mother-in-law a Victoria's Secret gift. she told me how good the cologne and the lotion smelled she can't help but thank me everytime she uses them. what do you know???

MOMMY'S DAY! I sent my mom an arrangement of flowers...hand delivered to her a day before THE day. my son LUIS told me that my mom got so emotional when she got the flowers. awwwwwww!!!! well, i guess i was just in the mood to tell her that she's done a good job raising me...i don't know with my brothers and sister...lol

i received cards from these cool moms--LE, VERO, CARADI, and my MOM-IN-LAW. i got calls and text messages from these nice people--my son LUIS, my son TYRONE, my sister TRESSA, my MOM, my cousins LYNN, Dado and Carol, my special friend CHARLIE BROWN, and all my friends who remembered their most beautiful momma friend--JOY, ABBY, KAYE, AGNES, KEITH, etc etc...

MAY is mother's month for me. this is the time when kids make things happen for their mom. supposedly, that's the deal. my husband took me to MEDIEVAL TIMES a week before mother's day. our babysitter bailed out on us. so we took DARRELL. my husband is not really into enjoying events like that plus, Darrell is running like crazy all over the place so, i really did not enjoy the show. dinner was good and i thought it's gonna be fun but, to my dismay, i ended up in that dinner theater waiting for the show to end so we can leave and go home.

the next week, THE day, i got ready not knowing what my husband has planned. i just rode the car and we took off. knowing my husband, when we got to the main road, he asked me what i wanted to do. duhhhh????? he asked me if i want to go to the salon and have my nails done or something. i got so bummed i told him he could've left me at home by myself and took care of darrell the whole day as a gift for me. this is why wives leave their husbands. they just don't have the thoughtfulness in them. they are just BARAKOS who think of nothing but themselves. trying so hard to please me, my husband took me to RED LOBSTER. now, we're talking! the food was so good we had to smoke and go back to our half-eaten plate of lobsters, shrimps, scallops and steak. with no plans whatsoever, he drove to palos verdes. we got out of the car and admired the beauty of the coast. ok...then what? nothing more! that's the end of the so-called mother's day treat for me. nothing more to say about this issue.

CRUNCH TIME FOR MONEY
my son LUIS needs money for his tuition fee. my sister needs money for her tuition fee. my stepdaughter needs money for her summer school. my mom needs money to renew her US visa. my stepson needs money so he can get out of jail for posession of illegal firearms. who else wants to line up for some cash? i just want you guys to evaluate the situation.

my son and my sister need the money to enroll. LOGICAL
my stepdaughter needs the money for summer school. why? because she messed up and did not concentrate on her studies. bad move!

my mom needs to renew her visa so she can gain entry to the US for another 10 years. LOGICAL
my stepson needed the money so he can get out of jail. why? because he got stupid that he had a stolen gun in his possession. stupid move!

now, am i a bad stepmom to get mad at them whenever they need money? am i a selfish stepmom when i hate sending them my hard-earned money everytime they mess up? you be the judge. i'm leaving it all up to you, my blogfriends.

one more thing--I'M STILL A SHOPAHOLIC. i watched one episode of OPRAH. she featured HOARDERS--people who just pile their whole house with anything and everything that they have and keep everything and not throw away anything. i feel for them and i think i'm one of them, too. i can't shop for one pair of shoes. i can't go to the store and buy a shirt for my son. i can't go to the market and buy just a slice of meat. I AM A PROFESSIONAL HOARDER SHOPAHOLIC!

and you know what??? I L-O-V-E IT!!!!!!
